Barenaked Ladies songs have been on many a kid-friendly mix CD up till now, so nobody was terribly surprised when the popular band decided to try its hand at an album just for the younger set.With Snacktime!, the result met and possibly even exceeded expectations. From the alphabet-song-destroying "Crazy ABCs" to the wordplay of "I Can Sing" to the heartfelt "Bad Day," the album combines the Ladies' geekiness and eagerness and wraps them into pop/rocks nuggets. All for the elementary school set. Snacktime, nothing -- this is a full meal of great tunes.
